In celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the King of Thailand's accession to the throne, Pattaya City, in cooperation with Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya, the Thai - Indian Community of Pattaya and Pattaya Mail, present a gala charity performance of Jaal Yatra - An Odyssey Into Rhythm by Pandit (Pt.) Suresh Jalwalkar. This rare performance is scheduled for 28 August 2006 at the Hall of Fame, Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya.

Taai Yatra is an innovative Indian classical ensemble led by the great tabla maestro and music master Pandit (Pt.) Suresh Talwalkar. This ensemble presents traditional and Indian classical compositions of Pt. Suresh Talwalker, symbolizing the perfect synergy of several streams of Indian music: Dance, Vocal, Instrumental and Tabla solo music. This unique musical blending has great response from connoisseurs (performing at Rhythm Festivals), as well as from the general audience.

Performing Indian classical music in its pure form, the ensemble has a very modern and fresh approach, by integrating the sounds of Western drum and drum and keyboards. Theorists have always maintained the universality of world music. Tracing the history of music one finds that the impulse for the expression of innate feelings has been the prime intent behind every musical expression. This innate urge for expression has given rise to diverse musical traditions over centuries over development of various civilizations
